Mental Snapshots

Looking out the window this week provides a breathtaking postcard image of spring time in full bloom!  The pink and white tree blossoms accented by the clear blue skies are quite the contrast to the gray/brown views we saw just last week!  Take a mental snapshot today in order to savor this wonderful season longer - even on rainy days!

Precious newborn babies and cozy toddler hugs seem priceless....while the children are sleeping!  Take a mental snapshot in the quiet times to carry you through while the children are awake!  :)

Late night texts and confidential talks may be a lifeline close friends share....occasionally or probably rarely.  Take a mental snapshot of the sweet togetherness to encourage you when you are apart.

Memories of Trey are oh, so precious.  I cling to the mental snapshots probably more than actual photos.  Trey's voice, his squeeze, his love....

Easter Sunday was a wonderful celebration of God's HUGE gift of love for each one of us.  We rejoiced in His Victory over death!  But then Monday comes...and bills...and car repairs...and sicknesses...and life rolls right along.  Where is our mental snapshot of Easter?  How can we press on?  A Bible verse, a devotional, a calendar, a prayer, a song, a sermon, a friend....God's Hand is everywhere reaching out to support you and remind you of His Gift of Love.  Look for Him!  :)
