“Do whatever He tells you.”
The
infamous wedding at Cana, (John 2) where Jesus turns the water into
wine, is known for Jesus' miraculous works. Taking a deeper look into
the story, an issue of obedience comes to mind. When Mary, the mother
of Jesus, realized that there was no more wine for the guests, she told
her son, Jesus, about it. She then readied the servants by telling
them, "Do whatever He tells you." Jesus proceeded to tell the
servants to fill the jars with water....WHAT!?!? Mary just said they
ran out of wine! Why would Jesus say to go fill massive stone jars with
water? What wedding guest will be blessed by that!?!? And then Jesus
told the servants to give some of that "water" to the master! What a
test of faith! They waited for his first taste...what did the master
reply? "You have saved the best till now.”
Stage 4 cancer certainly wasn't in the Mitlo's syllabus of life.
Yet through obedience their faith (and Team Mitlo One's faith!) has grown in Supernatural ways! :)

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
