Asa (about 900 B.C.) was King of Judah. "He did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God...
Asa had an army of three hundred thousand men from Judah, equipped with large shields and with spears, and two hundred and eighty thousand from Benjamin, armed with small shields and with bows. All these were brave fighting men."
The enemy, however, had an army of a thousand thousands; but it was not a numbers game!
"Then Asa called to the LORD his God and said, “LORD, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty.
Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in Your Name we have come against this vast army. O LORD, you are our God"
The enemy was "crushed before the Lord"

For excellent, yet humble, surgery staff that endures to a perfect completion!
For cancer to be rendered powerless against the mighty Hand of God!
For all of us to rely on God as Wednesday (surgery day) lingers on!
For Jay and Rachel to totally feel the support and love and encouragement from their team of hundreds upon hundreds brave fighting pray-ers around the world!
