"But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son"

This is a busy time of year, right?
Always running, shopping, multi-tasking....never time to do everything!
The word time
is used over 600 times in the Bible! Must be a pretty important message
from God and an important emphasis in our lives!
For this Trey Tuesday let's take a peek back at a very precious time...
"...the time came for the Baby to be born"
Luke 2:6 NIV
There were a
lot of people in those days who had different ideas about how and when
and where the Savior and King would come. But God waited until the
exact right time and place. Nothing with God is hurried or rushed or
early or late!
"As for God, His way is perfect"
2 Samuel 22:31 NIV
So as we wait with Jay and Rachel for Trey's testing next week, we know
the outcome we all pray for - complete healing for Trey!
We want a miracle that undeniably points to the saving work of Jesus in Trey's body!
Please continue to pray for Trey's strong numbers, great health, his
gift of life, and for his little body to fighting its fight!
Let's also pray about all the other dynamic work God is performing during this time:
- Jay and Rachel being held together by the Strength of the Lord and the love and support of family and friends!
- the Penn Hills community - and around the whole world! - bonding together for Trey's sake, and the sake of the gospel!
- the many, many lessons we all have, and will continue to learn by
watching this vivacious boy laugh and sing and play and dance (and
outsmart his dad!) :)
- the testimony of Team Mitlo One lived outloud in the hospital, schools, community, stadiums, offices, on Facebook, Caring Bridge and beyond!
