Apples over Pumpkins
Yes, yes, they're everywhere....pumpkin lattes, pumpkin cheesecake and even pumpkin Oreos!

However, I prefer to focus on the apple during September and early October....pumpkins can wait for jack o' lanterns and Thanksgiving. Plus, apples work better for this Trey Tuesday! :)
Psalm 17:8 paints a beautiful picture of us entrusting Trey and his health to our Almighty Creator/Provider/Protector. "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings"
And so we pray:
Father, keep Trey...we know You already have him, You created him, You know all about him!
As the apple of Your eye...just
like we protect the very vulnerable and critical center of our eyes,
protect our tender and fragile Trey as he awaits a new treatment plan
Hide him...please God, don't allow the enemies of fear and doubt and guilt to invade Trey's family.
In the shadow of Your wings...we
know Your "wings" are over Trey and his family. Bless them with
feeling and knowing they are safe in the shadow of Your wings...
