A dear neighbor pointed out this week that you can’t capture the beautiful dance of lightning bugs in a regular photograph. Their tiny lights in the vast darkness just have to be admired with our eyes.
I experienced the same phenomenon yesterday while I was feeding my grandson a bottle. I held him with one hand and I held the bottle with the other hand....And then his two sweet little hands grasped onto my fingers. Where was my phone!? How could I capture this precious moment? I couldn't! With no one else around, God reminded me to capture His gift in my heart and treasure it without a photo.
It might be roller coaster thrills or sweet strawberry aromas....or it may be something much bigger.....deep pain, intense fear, or endless anxiety....we just can't comprehend them with our human minds. But please know that God's presence and provision surround you. You cannot see them. You cannot hear them. But we can savor them. Cling to Him. Count on Him.
