A wish or a prayer?
What do you wish for?
What do you pray for?
Are they one and the same?
Which one do you do more?
We all wish for Trey to be completely healed of his cancer!
Here is something to think about, though....When you wish, who/what is the object of your wish come true?
I don't want to upset you, but there is no special birthday fairy that makes all your wishes come true!
So....what's a wish going to get you?
"If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well
fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?"
James 2:16
Sort of sounds like a wish just isn't enough, doesn't it?
God has a bigger, better, higher, MUCH more powerful tool and gift for us!
PRAYER!  :)
"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped
praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His
will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And
we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and
may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing
in the knowledge of God, being
strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you
may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father..."
Colossians 1:9-12
Now....we all pray for God to watch over Trey...He does!
We pray for God to heal Trey...one day He will!
We pray for God to sustain Jay and Rachel...He does!
Thank you for your prayers!
And thank you for your week long prayers for a refreshing trip to Disney World!  God heard, answered and blessed the Mitlos!  :)
Please continue to lift up our Young Warrior - asking God to strengthen
Trey with all His power according to His glorious might as Trey has a CT
 Scan tomorrow!
Please pray for Trey's kidney to withstand the prep and procedure and recovery!  And for results to show less cancer!  :)
Please pray for God to fill Jay and Rachel with the knowledge of His
will in all matters - large and small and Trey and Joe and Bella and
health and school and church, etc.
And please pray for yourselves, Team Mitlo One, that you may please the
Lord, bear fruit in every good work, grow in the knowledge of
God....joyfully giving thanks to the Father!
"Never stop praying."
I Thessalonians 5:17
