Inside on the Outside
Popular research indicates that our aches
and pains can be caused by carrying grudges and bitterness for many
years. A nutritionist friend told me that our outer
battles/sicknesses/maladies can be traced back to something going on on
our inside.
Most of us, though, trudge through each day without taking/making the time to look that deep.
We treat the surface without looking within.
Trey's outer joy certainly portrays a trust-filled inner peace (except for when he is a Wild Young Warrior!) :)
Yet cancer tries to wage a war inside him.

inside Trey, by the grace and love of God, in Trey's tender, young
heart he is strong and healthy and alive and well! :)
How can we "get" that same peace?
Quit looking around you and at everyone else and look deep inside for that pure, clean heart of which the Psalmist, David cried:
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
Psalm 51:10After you do that, all will not be well.
All will not go according to plan.
But...Christ our Healer, Redeemer, Counselor and Defender will take it from there! :)
