We sing songs every Sunday. Sometimes people raise their hands. Some people clap or dance. And a few look upward - or downward - or inward while singing. What is up with all these motions? True worship is about praising God! Lifting Him above all the messes that we trip over all day everyday in our lives.
I often lean toward Psalm 150: "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." I imagine dogs barking, frogs croaking, and birds singing all as a choir proclaiming the greatness and wonder of our Creator God!
But for God's people? Let's claim God's Word and the power in praising His Name!
Psalm 149:9 says, "This is honor for all His godly ones." "May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands," Psalm 149:6
