Trey Tuesday - March 15, 2011

“Praise be to You, O LORD,
   God of our father Israel,
   from everlasting to everlasting.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is Yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom;
You are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from You;
You are the ruler of all things."

What a blessing to bask in the mighty power and provision of God!
Let's go back and highlight each of the names/attributes of God in this passage!
Praise!
God!
Everlasting!
Greatness!
Power!
Glory!
Majesty!
Splendor!
Owner of All!
Kingdom!
Exalted!
Head!
Wealth!
Honor!
Ruler of all things!
How well do you know God?
Which of these attributes is most near and dear to you?

Trey is so near and so dear to so many of us!
Please join us in prayer this week as we lift him before our All-Sufficient Jehovah Jireh!
"In Your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all."
And yes, Father God, Creator and Ruler of All things, we bring before you our Baby Trey.  We place in Your hands Trey and his cancer, his parents and his siblings, his doctors and nurses and his treatment plan.  Your Word promises us that in Your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.  We ask for that strength and power for Trey physically, spiritually and emotionally.  Strength to fight his fight.  Power to win his race.  Health to continue to progress with Your power and might.  And, as always, a healing miracle of killing the cancer cells in his body!

"Now, our God, we give You thanks,
   and praise Your glorious name.
"

Yes!  Throughout this ordeal, there is much to be thankful for!
Thank you, Team Mitlo One, for your continued steadfast love and support!
Thank you, Life Giving God, for a wonderful birthday celebration for Joe and Bella!
Praise be to You, O Lord, for Trey's smiling face, his contagious laugh and his zeal for all that he loves!
And praise be to You, O Lord, for Trey's timely release from the hospital this weekend - with no signs of pneumonia!
And now, our God, we give You thanks for Jay and Rachel and their ability to stand firm in Your Name, in Your Power, facing major hurdles, obstacles and temptations of emotions.  Continue to empower them to keep their hearts and their family loyal to You.

"So they all praised the LORD, the God of their fathers; they bowed low and fell prostrate before the LORD and the king."
I Chronicles 29:10-13,20
